Healthy Participants Needed For Concussion Study
Development of a concussion test for contact sport using ultra high-resolution diffusion MRI
We are seeking healthy participants for a new study looking at brain injuries over time as a result of concussions from sport or work.
Who:
-
males and females aged over 18
-
no prior history of concussion or mild traumatic brain injury
-
no pre-existing brain or chronic medical condition
-
no history of claustrophobia, metallic implants or other contraindication for MRI.
What is involved: A brain MRI (no contrast used) and a 45 min psychometric test
Confidentiality - the participant needs to be able to provide informed consent. You will need to sign a consent form prior to the study after the MRI exam and associated risks have been explained. All the information collected from you will be treated confidentially, and all data will be de-identified.
